2010 Reunion Information

Hello to all:

We have officially chosen Eureka Springs for the site of the 2010 Ray family reunion. Neva, Mom, Kathy and I went there last weekend to scout it out.

It will be Thursday, June 17 through Sunday, June 20 at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks, 207 W. Van Buren.

We will have a meeting room available for those dates. Rooms with two queen-sized beds are $89.00 per night and $69.00 if you want to stay over Sunday night. They do not have a complimentary breakfast, but they do have a restaurant and breakfast ranges from $3-$10.

We will be able to bring our own food to the meeting area, but we aren't allowed to cook anything, so we plan to have sandwiches and snacks.

They also have an outside heated swimming pool, a spa, tennis courts, miniature golf and a game room. They have a movie screen by the pool area and show children-appropriate movies each evening.

We thought we might plan a group trip to The Passion Play, which is a dinner theater. You can choose to have dinner there, or not. We would like to do that on Friday night. We can get discounted tickets through the Best Western. I'll have to get the specifics on that, but I think they said we can get tickets for $18, whereas they are normally $25.

Saturday night, we would like to have a catered dinner in the meeting room at the hotel. I also need to get the specifics on that because I have slept since then and don't remember the prices.

Reserverations can be made anytime from now until May 17, 2010. Please let them know if you need a downstairs room. They are 57 miles from Northwest Arkansas Regional airport, 52 miles from Drake Field ,Fayetteville and 90 miles from Springfield/Branson, MO International airport.
