Halloween Activites 2008: Part I and II
Mackenzie's first Halloween activity this year consisted of going to the Halloween Party at his elementary school. He took a picture with the ACFT Tiger... and got overstimulated at the "dancing area". We only managed to stay 30 minutes at the party.
Mackenzie with his Halloween costume... he's going to be a fireman for Halloween.
He really enjoys wearing it.
And the fire extenguisher is probably his favorite part of the get-up. We then headed to the Ballpark in Arlington for the "Batty at the Ballpark".
He got to pull a duck out of the pond for a prize.
Actually, he did it twice.
And he picked out a temp tattoo... deciding on a mummy.
I don't know what this look was about... I guess an odd and untimely picture.
His tattoo was of a mummy.Posted by Weather Man at 3:45 PM 0 comments

Mark Brandt and Debbie Ray Wedding
Our little family is planning on attending. Mackenzie is a maybe right now, as we are looking for sitting help... if he does come along, we would be leaving very early to go up, to allow for some time for him to stretch his little legs. As it is, we are planning for plenty of driving time and will be returning home that evening. I am looking forward to going to a wedding instead of a funeral... it's a good change of pace.Posted by Weather Man at 12:20 PM 0 comments

Halloween Events
On Friday, Mackenzie will be going to this party at his school. It should be fun!
On Saturday, we will be going to the Batty at the Ballpark:Legends of the Game Baseball Museum and Learning Center will host Batty at the Ballpark on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Bring your family to the Museum for a day of Halloween festivities! Batty at the Ballpark includes: mask making, pumpkin decorating, demonstrations by Louisville Slugger, face painting, balloon artist, crafts, spooky stories, baseball-related games, and more! Participants will receive a ticket redeemable for a free ballpark tour with every Batty at the Ballpark ticket purchased. Children in costume will be entered in a drawing to win a Texas Rangers autographed baseball. Cost is $7.00 for ages 3 and up.
We will be having some friends over for dinner on Saturday, and then all of us will go to the Hoot -n- Howl. Mackenzie's costume is going to get it's use this year!
We'll be doing the "Kid's Night Out" at Kroger on the 30th. And then on the 31st, we'll be going out to Grapevine to the neighborhood we visited last year to "trick or treat". It was a pretty happening nieghborhood last year, so I am hoping it will be just as good for him this year.Posted by Weather Man at 12:00 PM 0 comments
